Job Description:
Lobster Island & Seafood is looking for a Bookkeeper to perform the following:
1. Track company bank accounts, deposits and balances, reporting regularly to management to ensure proper financial oversight and contributing to monthly cash flow optimization;
2. Manage company invoice obligations, ensuring accurate and timely payments, gaining approval where necessary and identifying and reporting inaccuracies or variances, resulting in a 98% on-time payment rate;
3. Prepare company monthly financial statements, including cash flow, income/P&L, and balance sheets, ensuring clear and accurate financial reporting for strategic decision-making;
4. Reconciled and verified all company invoices and monthly statements, assigning payments to appropriate cost centres, improving the reconciliation process by 25% in efficiency.

Job Requirements:
Education: a college graduate in Accounting;
Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience
Language: English
