Job title: Bookkeeper (NOC 12200)
Full-time permanent.
Work hours: Tuesday-Friday, 30 hours/week
Wage: $20.50/hour
Work Location: 14 Prince William Dr, Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador, A0B 2Y0
Language: English
Vacation: Employees are entitled to either two weeks of paid vacation per year or compensation equivalent to 4% of their gross salary.

Job responsibility
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, and manage a variety of account balances and financial transactions.
Record journal entries and reconcile accounts, such as accounts payable.
Process payroll, T4 forms, and all expenditure-related cheques.
Compile trial balances and prepare financial statements.
Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required to support business operations and management decision-making.
Organize and maintain invoices, receipts, and other financial documents to ensure proper record retention and easy retrieval.
Assist in monitoring cash flow, operating expenses, and routine financial activities to support the efficient management of the business.

Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
A college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or at least 1 year working experience as a bookkeeper or similar role is preferred.
Basic computer skills, ncluding proficiency in MS Office and the ability to use bookkeeping or accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with accuracy and confidentiality.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
