Job Duties:
• Maintain accurate financial records and balance daily sales and expenses using manual or computerized bookkeeping systems
• Record journal entries, reconcile transactions, and prepare trial balances and basic financial statements
• Process payroll for employees and issue payments for rent, utilities, taxes, and other regular expenses
• Complete and submit required government forms such as GST/HST returns, workers' compensation, and payroll deductions
• Assist with tax preparation and simple bookkeeping services for business reporting purposes
• Generate regular sales, inventory, and accounting reports to support operational decisions
Requirement:
• Completion of secondary school
• Accounting or bookkeeping training and two years of experience in a financial or accounting
