Bookkeeper Job

Twin Lakes Market is a one-stop shop located in Kaleden, BC. We have Gasoline, Diesel, Propane, Liquor, Local produce, confectionery, and ice-cream.

We are looking for a Bookkeeper for our site located at 1066 Hwy 3A, Kaleden, BC V0H 1K0. The position is full time with 8 hours a day/40 hour a week. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the site’s financials and completing all duties described below:

Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Post journal entries
Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
Prepare trial balance of books
Reconcile accounts
Communicate with vendors for payments

Requirements:

1-2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting
New Bachelor or Master program graduates are welcome to apply
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively
Minimum education requirement: College Diploma

What we offer:

$28.50/hr
4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time position
