Position: Bookkeeper
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $34.62 - $35.62 per hour (Depending onworking experience)
Position Available: 1
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay or 10 business days of paidvacation
Work Location: 101-1206 Ridgeway Ave, Coquitlam, BC,V3J 1S9
Job Duties:
• Maintain and balance financial records and accountsusing both manual and bookkeeping software, ensuringaccuracy in expense and sales tracking
• Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, preparetrial balances, update general ledgers, and generatefinancial statements.
• Calculate and prepare payments for payroll, vendorpayments, refunds, taxes, and other operatingexpenses
• Complete and submit tax remittances, GST/PSTfilings, workers' compensation, pension contributions,and other government forms.
• Prepare tax returns and provide personal bookkeepingservices as needed.
• Generate financial, statistical, and performancereports tailored to MarketVan, such as sales by vendor,return rates, and profit margins.

Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• Completion of a college program in accounting,bookkeeping OR a related field OR completion of twoyears (first level) of a recognized professionalaccounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting,Certified General Accounting) OR courses in accountingor bookkeeping combined with several years ofexperience as a financial or accounting clerk arerequired.
• Working knowledge of English;
• Strong team-oriented and problem–solving skills;
• Great communication and prioritisation skills.
