Wage: $20.00/hour
Work hours: Tuesday-Friday, 30 hours/week
Address: 408 Water St, St. John's, NL A1C 1C9
Nature: Full-time permanent.

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of basic salary
Job duties
Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems for the business
Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
Prepare invoices, payroll records, bank deposits, and expense reports
Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances regularly
Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and cost tracking
Prepare financial summaries and reports for management review
Maintain tax records and assist with year-end accounting procedures
Communicate with suppliers and service providers regarding payments and invoices
Support external accountants during audits or tax preparation
Job requirements
Completion of secondary school is a must.
Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is required.
Basic knowledge of payroll, invoices, and financial record keeping
Experience using Microsoft Office and accounting software preferred
Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage confidential financial information responsibly
Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
