Job description
Job title: Bookkeeper (NOC 12200)
Wage: $20.50/hour
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 30 hours/week
Address: 187 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1W 3G7
Nature: Full-time permanent.
Language: English
Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of basic salary

Job duties
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and bookkeeping systems.
Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial records.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions.
Prepare invoices, bills, and other financial documents.
Assist with preparing financial statements and reports.
Monitor and organize receipts, invoices, and other accounting documents.
Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.
Ensure financial records are properly maintained and organized.
Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as required.

Job requirements
Completion of secondary school is a must.
A college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.
At least a year of working experience as a bookkeeper or similar role is a must.
Experience with computer skills and accounting software is an asset.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
