Pay Rate: $40–$50/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Boiler Service Technician to support commercial and industrial clients throughout Metro Detroit. This role involves a mix of scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls within a two-hour radius of the city. Candidates must have extensive experience in commercial/industrial boiler systems and a strong service technician background.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and complete daily assignments from supervisors
Work on one large commercial/industrial job or multiple smaller service calls per day
Diagnose and repair boiler malfunctions
Perform routine maintenance and CSD-1 safety inspections
Respond to emergency service calls, particularly during the heating season (Oct–Feb)
Work with low-voltage electrical components as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of boiler experience
At least 6 months of CSD-1 inspection experience
Strong service technician background with commercial/industrial experience
Must pass a background check and drug test
Experience with diverse job sites (residential-only experience will not be considered)
