Work Location: 624 Comox Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9R 3J3
The Body Shop Supervisor is responsible for customer experience and day-to-day operations of the store in compliance with policies and procedures. The Body Shop Supervisor will promote and maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving all customers, always leading by example, while working with team members to achieve the repair facilities KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of all repair facility personnel
Make recommendations on hiring, training, corrective action and termination
Provide training for all staff as necessary in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code
Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures
Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to oversee work in progress and delivery dates
Manage all estimates and store capacity
Create damage/cost estimates in Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems following the latest guidelines and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair procedures
Ensure pertinent details from damage/cost estimate and every customer interaction are recorded accurately and efficiently
Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses
Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings. Attend monthly managers meetings
Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by our Leadership Team
Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times
Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booth
Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education or equivalent
2-3 years’ experience in an auto body collision repair environment or similar context
Valid driver’s license
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and function well in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Capability to engage with all levels of employees
Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills
Post-secondary education or equivalent
2-3 years’ experience in an auto body collision repair environment or similar context
