Position Info:

• Position: Welding Machine Operator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $36.00-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 2944 Dickerson Place, Victoria, BC V9B 2G7

Job Duties:

• Operate welding machines to fabricate, repair, and join metal components used in glass installation and support systems
• Perform brazing and soldering tasks to bond metal parts or fill gaps, seams, and indentations in metal structures
• Inspect welded and brazed components for quality and compliance with specifications
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs of welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Job requirements:

• Experience: 7 months-1 year of related experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required, or equivalent experience
• Language: English
