In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize plastic processing equipment for clients across North America (USA, Canada, Mexico) and Asia. Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain EBM and IBM machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, and customers) to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Train customers and internal teams on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Document service reports, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
• Travel 50%+ to client sites across North America and Asia (passport required)
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM) or Injection Blow Molding (IBM).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for plastic processing equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Proficiency with PLC systems and industrial controls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with teams and clients.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ domestically and internationally (USA, Canada, Mexico, Asia).
Preferred:
• Bilingual (Chinese-English) – a major plus for collaboration with global teams and suppliers.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and process optimization.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and safety protocols in manufacturing environments.
