Job Description:
Set up and conduct biological, microbiological, and biochemical laboratory tests and analyses to support biotechnology research and quality control activities
Apply laboratory techniques such as microscopy, histochemistry, chromatography, electrophoresis, and spectroscopy
Perform standardized laboratory procedures related to antibody production, characterization, and validation
Conduct immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining procedures and prepare microscope slides for laboratory analysis
Prepare laboratory reagents, buffers, and solutions according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Handle, label, aliquot, and store biological samples and laboratory materials according to laboratory protocols
Collect, organize, and assist in the analysis of laboratory data and experimental results
Maintain accurate experimental records and laboratory documentation in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment used in biological testing and research activities
Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration checks, and cleaning of laboratory instruments
Follow laboratory safety procedures, quality control standards, and established laboratory protocols
Identify and report experimental variances or technical issues to the laboratory manager or scientific lead

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences field
Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in biological, biotechnology, or biomedical research environments
Experience performing biological laboratory tests and operating laboratory instruments
Knowledge of laboratory techniques such as microscopy, histochemistry, or electrophoresis is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a laboratory team
Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in biological, biotechnology, or biomedical research environments
