Bilingual Staff Assistant Job

Seeking a bilingual Staff Assistant to work in the Adult Education Program at Community Action, Inc. The Staff Assistant must be able to perform administrative duties in a pleasant, professional and proficient manner in both English and Spanish. The Staff Assistant is responsible for outreach, intake, data entry, administrative support, and maintaining student confidentiality. The position requires extensive interaction with students, staff and visitors to the Adult Education Program at Community Action, Inc. The Staff Assistant will facilitate waitlist registration and orientation sessions as well as administer state-mandated testing.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or its equivalency; Associate’s Degree preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Excellent organizational skills, proficiency with data management and Microsoft Office products is a must. A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered. The position is 40 hours/week 52 weeks per year. Must be available to work nights as some evening hours are required. Salary range is $23.17-$24.10/hr. dependent upon education and experience.
