Bel-Tech Construction Ltd. is seeking a F/T Telecommunications Technician Job

Position Info:

• Position: Telecommunications Technician
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $35.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 25-1610 Derwent Way, Delta, BC V3M 6W1

Job Duties:

• Install, configure, and maintain telephone, internet, and cable equipment and systems
• Install and connect communication lines using fiber optic, coaxial, and other transmission media
• Test systems, troubleshoot issues, and verify performance using testing equipment
• Diagnose defects in lines and equipment, and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Maintain detailed records of installation, repair, and maintenance activities
• Provide customer support, guidance, and respond to inquiries to ensure service quality

Job requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in a related field is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
