Job Description:
1326855 B.C. Ltd. DBA Threads Brow Bar is looking for a Full-time Beauty Shop Manager to work at 1451 Estevan Road suite 3, Nanaimo, BC V9S 3Y3. Salary is 39.15 dollars per hour and no of hours are 35 per week.(Even though this is a full time position, part time job seekers are encouraged to apply.)
Job Duties:
Plan and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the salon including staff coverage, appointments, client services, work flow to ensure services are delivered efficiently and according to established standards
Develop and implement workplace policies, procedures, and service standards
Prepare and monitor the budget and manage inventory of beauty products, equipment, and other supplies
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers of beauty products, equipment, and salon supplies
Communicate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, orders, and delivery requirements
Respond to client inquiries, feedback, and complaints and take appropriate steps to resolve service-related concerns
Coordinate advertising, promotions, and marketing activities and manage arrangements with marketing service providers
Recruit, train, supervise, and support beauty technicians and other salon staff
Perform same duties as workers supervised
Carry out administrative and office-related duties, including maintaing files for clients, handling business communications, and other clerical responsibilities
Requirements:
A college diploma or vocational certificate in the subject of instruction is required. Three to five years of experience in the service being offered is required
