Barista Job

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Take customer orders accurately and handle transactions using the POS system
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Upsell cafe products and promote specials to customers
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required. Training available
- Knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with retail math for handling transactions and managing inventory
- Experience working in a cafe or similar environment is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using espresso machines and other beverage equipment
- Strong sales skills to promote products effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
