Salary: $19.23/ Hour for 35 - 40 Hours / Week

Languages: English and French
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Barber Licence
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience
Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, efficient interpersonal skills, client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication

Tasks: Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair; Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences; Shampoo customers' hair; Shave and trim beards and mustaches; Apply dyes to color hair; Provide other hair and service treatments, such as coloring, facial waxing and also provide scalp conditioning massages; Cut, trim, taper and style hair; Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences; Maintain shop and station cleanliness.

Hair Colouring Techniques: Dyes/tints

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, walking, risks of slip and fall injuries, use of electrical tools, use of sharp objects, use of chemical products.
