Job Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to 2 years in similar
Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
Work location: On-site only (no remote work)
Main Responsibilities
Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
Apply hair extensions
Suggest hairstyles based on clients’ physical features and preferences
Provide hair colouring services (bleaching, dyes, tints, streaking, highlights)
Shampoo, condition, and treat hair and scalp
Shave and trim beards and mustaches
Provide scalp conditioning massages and other treatments
Supervise apprentices or students in training
Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area
Maintain and order supplies as needed

Iron waving / curling
