Smart Look Haircut Barber Shop is looking to hire a Barber to add to its team at the earliest. It is a full-time position and on permanent basis.

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible.
Wage: $18.00-$21.00/hour for 40 hours per week (Overtime after 40 hours as per BC labor law)
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay
Work location: 1439 Main St, Penticton, BC, V2A 5G4, Canada

Job Duties:

• Maintain supplies by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing orders.
• May shampoo hair and provide treatments such as straightening
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches
• Cut, trim, shampoo and style hair
• Train or supervise other helpers
• Adhere to salon safety and cleanliness standards
• May book appointments

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required
• 1 to 2 years of experience in similar field
OR Completion of college program in relevant field is required with some previous experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Attention to detail and precision in hair cutting and styling.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
