Duties:
• Advise clients on beauty care treatments
• Analyze hair and scalp condition
• Book appointments
• Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
• Provide custom hair and scalp treatment
• Shampoo customers' hair
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches
• Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide -scalp conditioning massages
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Suggest hair style compatible with the client's physical features and preferences
• Perform receptionist duties
• Maintain and order supplies

Skills Requirement:
• Completion of Secondary School.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a hairstylist or completing a hairstyling program at a college or similar institution, alongside gaining practical experience through on-the-job training is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• May require standing for an extended period.
• Fluent in English
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service, understanding the guest’s needs, providing quality consultations, and performing service requested in an efficient and professional manner
• Completion of a hair design college or similar program is an asset
• Experience working with all types of hair is an asset.

Wages: $ 17.50/hr. for 40 hrs. per week.
