• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.
• Responsible beverage service certification is required for managers of establishments serving alcoholic beverages.
• 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.

• Plan and organize daily operations
• Set staff work schedules
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
• Supervise staff
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Provide customer service
