Job Description:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the overall bar operations to ensure efficient service, profitability, and a high-quality guest experience.
• Develop and implement bar service procedures, floor operations, VIP table service procedures, reservation handling processes, and event-night operational standards.
• Supervise the daily operations of the bar, including beverage service, guest flow, table management, opening and closing procedures.
• Recruit, train, and supervise bartenders, servers, hosts, barbacks, security-related floor staff, and other front-of-house employees.
• Prepare staff schedules, assign duties, monitor attendance and performance, and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours, weekends, and special event nights.
• Oversee customer service standards and ensure guests receive professional, timely and courteous service.
• Control inventory of liquor, beer, wine, champagne, mixers, bar supplies and related products.
• Coordinate purchasing and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely ordering and availability of beverage products and bar supplies.
• Developing beverage offerings, bottle service packages, pricing strategies and promotional initiatives in line with the establishment’s business model and customer demand.
• Coordinate bar operations for themed nights, DJ events, private functions, and other promotional activities, and work closely with management to ensure smooth event execution.
• Address customer concerns, complaints and service issues in a professional and timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction and protect the establishment’s reputation.
• Monitor the cleanliness, organization and maintenance of the bar area, storage areas, equipment and guest-facing service areas.
Job Requirements:
• A college diploma or other post-secondary training in hospitality management, restaurant management, business, or a related field is an asset.
• Several years of supervisory or management experience in the food and beverage service sector
