Job Description:
Clarion Pointe Rimbey is hiring a Banquet Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Collaborate with clients, Event Sales, and departments to plan and execute seamless events, including layout, menu, and decorations.
• Prepare event timelines, ensure logistics are in place, and oversee setup and breakdown of banquet areas.
• Recruit, train, and supervise banquet staff while managing schedules, labor costs, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure excellent guest service, handle complaints promptly. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Monitor and manage banquet supplies, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and handle billing and invoicing accurately.
• Promote banquet services through marketing strategies, build client/vendor relationships, and execute promotional events.
• Coordinate and negotiate agreements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies.
• Liaise with clients to arrange catering services or facility use for banquets, receptions, and special events.
You need to meet the following qualifications:
Completion of secondary school is required.
2-3 years of experience in the field required including supervisory experience.
Language of work: English.
Your hourly wage will be $36. 4 % vacation pay is provided.
