Job Duties:
Oversee and coordinate the entire bakery production process, ensuring smooth daily operations from ingredient preparation to final product output.
Design and carry out efficient plans for using ingredients, staff, and equipment to consistently meet quality and quantity goals.
Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure resources are used cost-effectively.
Schedule production runs and maintain accurate stock levels of raw ingredients and finished baked goods.
Identify areas for improvement in equipment, processes, and workflows, and lead the implementation of new methods to boost efficiency.
Supervise product quality checks, enforce food safety standards, and establish clear reporting procedures for production outcomes.
Organize routine maintenance of bakery equipment, and recommend repairs or replacements when needed.
Recruit, lead, and train production staff, providing guidance on new equipment, recipes, and modern baking techniques.

Job Requirements:
- Education: Completion of a college or university in related field is an asset.
- Experience: Five to ten years of supervisory experience in bakery production is required.
