LA FORET ROYAL OAK BAKERY CORP is looking for a Bakery Manager to work with our team.
Title: Bakery Manager - Retail
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 45.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of employment.
Location: 6958 Palm Ave, Burnaby, BC, V5J 4M3
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• 2-3 years of work experience as a bakery manager
Main Duties:
• Oversee the daily functions of the bakery.
• Supervise the workforce and distribute tasks to ensure all production goals are met throughout the shift.
• Examine consumer patterns and industry shifts to forecast product popularity and the impact of local competition.
• Select the assortment of baked goods provided while establishing pricing structures and payment terms.
• Identify and consult with external suppliers to secure high quality ingredients for resale.
• Create and launch advertising initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive foot traffic.
• Plan budgets, approve departmental spending, and track total income to maintain profitability.
• Review and upgrade the quality of service while resolving any feedback promptly.
