Overview
We are seeking attentive, safety-focused drivers to support autonomous vehicle testing operations. In this role, you will help advance cutting-edge vehicle technology while ensuring the highest safety standards in real-world driving environments.
This position is ideal for individuals with excellent driving skills, strong situational awareness, and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate autonomous vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws
• Monitor vehicle systems and performance during testing
• Collect and report data on system behavior and environmental conditions
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure operational readiness
• Provide feedback to engineers and operations teams
• Interact professionally with riders, team members, and stakeholders
• Remain alert and prepared to take control of the vehicle at any time
• Anticipate hazards and respond quickly to unexpected situations
• Maintain a distraction-free driving environment at all times
Requirements
• Valid U.S. driver’s license held for at least 3 years
• Clean driving record (no DUIs or drug/alcohol-related offenses in the past 5 years)
• Strong driving skills with a proven commitment to safety
• Ability to anticipate and respond to hazardous situations quickly
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and road types
• High level of responsibility and ownership
Relevant experience may include:
• Autonomous vehicle operation
• Driving instruction
• Motorsports or performance driving
• Other safety-critical driving roles
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of vehicle technology and control systems
• Defensive driving or safety driving certifications
Schedule
• Full-time (30–40+ hours per week)
• Flexible scheduling required based on business needs
• Shifts may range between 6:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Available shift options:
• AM: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• PM: 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Potential work schedules:
• Wednesday – Saturday
• Thursday – Sunday
• Friday – Monday
• Saturday – Tuesday
• Weekend availability may be required
• Hours may vary weekly depending on operational needs
Pay & Employment Details
• $25.00 per hour
• Full-time, 1-year contract
• On-site position (local candidates only)
