Competition Collision Centre is looking for Automotive Painting and Refinishing Technician in Stony Plain, AB
Responsibilities include:
• Plan work to be performed
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primer as needed
• Mix and match paint to ensure a perfect color match using computerized systems
• Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Perform touch-ups and refinishing to correct defects or damage
• Instruct apprentices
• Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment in clean and safe working condition
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with customer and manufacturer standards
• Collaborate with auto body technicians and estimators to ensure smooth workflow
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and use appropriate PPE
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
• Stay updated on new products, techniques, and technologies in auto refinishing
Experience and specialization
• Paint spraying
Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
• Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
Educational requirement: Journeyman Trade Certificate
Related experience: 3 - 5 Years Experience
Wage offered: $36.00 per hour for 40 hours/week, Permanent, Full Time.
