Position: Automotive Glass Installer Helper
Number of Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Year around

Wage: $26.50/hour for 35 hours per week

Job Duties:

· Load and unload materials and prepare work areas for the auto glass technician.
· Assist in removing all dirt, foreign matter, and loose glass from damaged areas.
· Select and prepare appropriate tools, safety equipment, and parts as required for a specific project or as per auto glass technician instructions
· Assist during installation or glass replacement of windshields and car windows
· Obtain windshields or windows from stock, as instructed by the auto glass technician
· Assist in adding channeling strips around edges of glass frames to weatherproof windows or to prevent rattling.
· Keep work areas organized during windshield installation and clean up after the installation.
· Perform other related duties, whenever required

Job Requirements:

· Some Secondary School Education will be an asset.
· No experience is required, and on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate.
· Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
· Must be physically fit to handle job-related tasks
· Must be flexible and willing to work weekends or overtime, as needed.
