Job Description:
An Automotive Engineering Technician is needed in Selma, Alabama.
• Coordinate collection of testing data for automotive systems, subsystems or components parts in assisting engineers in determining functionality and practicality of design of the au-tomotive parts and systems.
• Document test result after installation of newly developed automotive parts including engine cover, bumper under cover, radiator grille, front door trim and wheel cover to ensure compli-ance with engineering standards and specifications.
• Adjust and inspect automotive components to identify cause of malfunctions.
• Inspect and record inspection logs periodically after performing inspections on automotive systems and components to increase performance and maintain safety and accuracy.
• Prepare report on test data for automotive systems and components after conducting inspec-tions.
• Provide technical support and resolve system malfunctions for automotive systems.
• Enhance overall efficiency and productivity of automotive parts by running periodical in-spections.
Job Requirements:
Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automotive En-gineering, Automotive Engineering Technology or similar area of studies.
