Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Development Test Engineer with expertise in engine testing, emissions, aftertreatment, powertrain, controls, and calibration. The role focuses on engine/powertrain testing, emissions development, calibration optimization, data analysis, and technology development for ICE and hybrid applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute engine, powertrain, and vehicle dynamometer testing.
Develop and optimize engine calibration, emissions systems, controls, and aftertreatment.
Analyze emissions test cycles, test data, and system performance.
Support OBD, catalysts, gasoline particulate filters, sensors, and emissions technologies.
Investigate competitor vehicles and emissions systems using OBD and instrumentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve powertrain, emissions, and calibration issues.
Work with engineering teams and suppliers on technology development.
Evaluate emissions, fuel economy, performance, NVH, cost, and drivability trade-offs.
Prepare technical analysis and present findings to engineering and management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
2+ years of experience in engine, powertrain, emissions, controls, or calibration development.
Experience with ICE/hybrid engines, emissions systems, OBD, and powertrain testing.
Knowledge of engine combustion, thermal systems, transmission, and electrified propulsion.
Experience with INCA, AVL Concerto, CAS, INTECRIO, TCKs, or similar tools.
Experience with GT-Power, AVL Boost, AxiSuite, or similar simulation tools.
Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, calibration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
