MAKIL AUTO COLLISION LTD is seeking an experienced and dependable Automotive Body Shop Supervisor to join our team at our collision repair facility in Scarborough, Ontario.
We are looking for a hands-on supervisor who can coordinate daily shop activities, support our automotive repair team, maintain safe working practices, and help ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to established schedules.

Key Responsibilities
As the Automotive Body Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the body shop. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising automotive body shop workers and monitoring assigned repair projects.
Coordinating daily work activities and helping establish priorities to meet production schedules.
Scheduling work and coordinating activities between employees and other work units within the business.
Monitoring the progress of repair projects and helping ensure work is completed within established timelines.
Providing direction and guidance to employees regarding work procedures and shop practices.
Training employees or arranging appropriate training when required.
Ensuring employees follow workplace health and safety requirements and established shop procedures.
Identifying and communicating material, equipment, and supply requirements.
Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Coordinating workflow to maintain an efficient and organized work environment.
Paying close attention to details and helping maintain the quality and consistency of work performed.
Supporting management with the coordination of daily shop operations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
Completion of secondary school is required.
2 to 3 years of relevant supervisory or automotive body shop experience.
Experience coordinating workers, projects, schedules, or shop activities.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site in a busy automotive collision repair environment.
Ability to work effectively with employees from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
