We are committed to delivering high-quality service to our clients and are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Body Mechanic to join our professional team.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive body repairs, restorations, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards, ensuring vehicles are restored to their optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and replace front-end components, body panels, and underbody parts of vehicles.
- Hammer out dents, buckles, and other defects utilizing appropriate hand tools such as hammers and blocks.
- Straighten bent frames using specialized frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
- Smooth repaired surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding, employing both hand and power tools.
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
- Mix, blend, and match paint colours to ensure seamless repairs.
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brushes and spray guns.
- Conduct thorough inspections of repaired vehicles and perform test drives to verify proper handling and safety.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions, coordinate with supervisors to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components utilizing appropriate tools.
- Oversee final quality control checks to ensure the appearance and finishes meet company standards.

Working Conditions:

- May involve exposure to wet, damp, and cold environments, as well as strong odours, dust, and noise.
- Physically demanding tasks requiring standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Tasks may be repetitive in nature.
