Job Duties:
Automation and Control Systems Support
- Provide technical support in the development, modification, testing, and troubleshooting of PLC programs and HMI interfaces for industrial automation and electronic control systems.
- Assist engineers in the design, documentation, and implementation of electrical control systems and automation strategies in accordance with engineering standards.
- Configure, test, and optimize electrical and electronic control systems, automation architectures, instrumentation networks, and associated databases to ensure reliable operational performance.
Systems Testing and Performance Evaluation
- Conduct testing, verification, and performance analysis of electrical and electronic components, including pressure, flow, temperature, pH, and vacuum sensors within integrated control systems, using specialized diagnostic and test equipment.
- Inspect and evaluate electrical, electronic, and control system components to ensure compliance with specifications and support system reliability.
- Analyze performance data from control systems and electronic instrumentation to recommend and implement optimization measures for enhanced efficiency.
Maintenance, Diagnostics, and Commissioning
- Perform testing, diagnostics, and corrective actions on automated electrical control systems and electronic equipment.
- Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic systems using schematics, technical drawings, diagnostic tools, and documentation.
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and validation of electrical automation and control systems during production changes or equipment upgrades.
Projects, Technical Support, and Documentation
- Provide technical support for capital projects, process improvements, and automation system upgrades, including testing and implementation assistance.
- Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, system specifications, records, and reports in compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with procurement planning, component evaluation, and inventory management for critical electrical, electronic, and automation system parts.
Safety, Compliance, and Collaboration
- Adhere to and promote workplace safety procedures, GMP requirements, and food safety standards in all electrical and automation system activities.
- Participate in risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety reviews for electrical and electronic control systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement of electrical and electronic systems.
Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 40 hours of work per week

▪ Hands-on experience with a variety of instrumentation and process control systems.
▪ Familiar with VFDs, pumps, valves, sensors, and industrial automation components.
Technical Skills
