Job Description:
We are seeking an Automation Controls Engineer responsible for designing, programming, troubleshooting, and optimising automation and control systems used in manufacturing.
The successful candidate will work with PLC-controlled systems, robotics, sensors, HMIs, and Smart Factory infrastructure to improve equipment uptime, production efficiency, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems.
* Modify and debug PLC programmes, with LS ELECTRIC experience preferred.
* Support sensors, actuators, HMIs, and control devices.
* Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of automated production equipment.
* Analyse automation failures and implement corrective actions.
* Improve equipment stability, cycle time, and reliability.
* Support OEE improvement.
* Identify automation and system-upgrade opportunities.
* Support Smart Factory and digital manufacturing initiatives.
* Assist with MES integration, data collection, and system connectivity.
* Support real-time production monitoring.
* Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
* Work with automation vendors when required.
* Ensure control systems comply with safety standards.

Job Requirements:
* Associate degree.
* 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Experience with PLC systems and control logic.
* PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
* Experience with sensors, actuators, HMIs, and industrial automation.
* Ability to read electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams.
* Manufacturing automation experience preferred.
Important: The successful candidate must be willing to complete approximately 7 months of training in Korea beginning in October.
* 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Experience with PLC systems and control logic.
* PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
* Experience with sensors, actuators, HMIs, and industrial automation.
* Ability to read electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams.
* Manufacturing automation experience preferred.
Important: The successful candidate must be willing to complete approximately 7 months of training in Korea beginning in October.
