Job Description:
East & West Alum Craft Ltd. is looking for an Automatic Welding Machine Operator to join our team.
Title: Automatic Welding Machine Operator
Employer: East & West Alum Craft Ltd.
Opening: 2 positions (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 38.00 - CAD 39.00 per hour
Working hour: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended benefits after 6 months
Location: 7465 Conway Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5E 2P7
Requirements
• Secondary school education is required
• A minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in aluminum welding machine operation is required
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Experience with automatic welding machine experience is required
Main Duties:
• Calibrate and set up automated welding equipment in accordance with technical instructions and safety guidelines for aluminum railing fabrication
• Operate pre-programmed or automated welding machines to join, fabricate, or repair aluminum railing components with precision
• Monitor and control automated robotic welding production processes specific to aluminum railing systems
• Perform routine checks, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of automated welding equipment used in aluminum railing fabrication to ensure optimal operation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with workplace safety and operational standards during aluminum railing production
