Over Time Wage: $55.05 per hour (After 40 hours per week)

Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School required
• Completion apprenticeship program in the same trade
OR
3-4 years of work experience in the trade, High school, college or industry courses in Motor Vehicle Trade is usually required to be eligible for trade certification.
Experience: On-the-job training will be provided
Job Duties:
• Inspect and test engines, transmissions, axels and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions;
• Repair or replace components of engines by hand or using power tools;
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and lubrication, brakes, as per recommended guidelines;
• Adjust brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and reasonable equipment;
• Proficiency with all tools of the trade, shop machines and power tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment
• Advise customer on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements;
• Perform other related duties as required.
