Auto Body Shop Supervisor Job

Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise shop workers, machines and equipment and supervise the repairof transport trucks, cabs, cars, and trailers and maintain a schedule of repair
- Manage all operations of the shop, create reports, and keep records
- Train staff and assign duties while maintaining safety standards
- Oversee technicians’ inspection, diagnosing, repairing of all brands oftransport trucks
- Create inventory logs and order parts
- Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers, follow-up withcustomers when needed
- Create employee reports for promotion purposes
- Create log of safety breaches and maintaining utmost standards for worker safety

- Automotive knowledge is a must
- Experience as a shop supervisor is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Must be able to stay on feet for long periods and lift heavy equipment
