Auto Body Repairer – CARSTAR Vancouver (Experienced Technician) Job

CARSTAR Vancouver is seeking a highly experienced Auto Body Repairer to join our busy, high-production collision repair facility located at 3550 Commercial Street in Vancouver, British Columbia.

This position is suited for a skilled technician with strong experience in structural and non-structural repairs, capable of working in a fast-paced, insurance-driven repair environment.

Wage:

$36.60 per hour
30–40 hours per week + overtime available

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs, including frame and uni-body alignment
-Operate frame machines and underbody pulling and anchoring systems
-Repair and replace damaged body components, including aluminum and advanced materials
-Interpret and follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
-Assess vehicle damage and collaborate with estimators to plan and execute repairs
-Perform precision metal finishing, welding, and refinishing preparation
-Maintain high quality standards while meeting production timelines in a high-volume repair environment
-Ensure all repairs meet insurance and Direct Repair Program (DRP) requirements

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Auto Body Repairer
Strong experience with structural/frame repair and modern collision repair equipment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
Trade certification (Red Seal or equivalent) considered an asset
Valid driver’s licence
Work Environment
