Job Description:
Position: Auto body collision, refinishing and glass technicians and damage repair estimators
Working Hours: 40hrs per week (possible overtime needed)
Work Shift: It can be daytime, weekends and/or holidays
Wage: $37 per hour

Main duties:
Auto body collision, refinishing and glass technician
? Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
? Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
? Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
? Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
? Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
? Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
? File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
? Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
? Mix paint, blend and match colours
? Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
? Clean and maintain work space
? Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
? Inspect vehicle and estimate the costs and times for the repair and restoration of the vehicle
? Prepare report on damage and cost estimate
Auto body estimator
• Inspect vehicles to assess damage and prepare detailed cost and time estimates for repair and restoration
• Prepare comprehensive reports outlining damage assessments and repair estimates
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate repair processes with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and automotive repair regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and clearly explaining repair procedures and timelines
• Communicate and follow up with insurance companies regarding claims and related documentation
• Order necessary parts and materials required for repairs
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and obtain customer approvals and signatures
• Conduct final inspections to ensure repairs meet quality standards and appearance expectations
Employment Requirements:
? Completion of secondary school
? Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience, 3~5 years of automotive experience
? Able to work in a team environment
? Organized and detail oriented
? Able to perform at a productive pace
