Attendant for a Child with disabilities
The Yamak family is looking for an attendant to care for their 7-year-old child. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver or completion of a training program in a related field, as well as the ability to communicate in English and completion of Secondary School. The Caregiver will work at the employer’s residence.
The right candidate will perform the following duties:
• Supervise and care for a child with special needs, bathe and dress, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for the child and may perform other housekeeping duties.
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Will assist with transportation to medical appointments.
• May perform health-related duties.
We are offering $24.50/hr. for 40 hours a week. This is a full-time position
