Associate Veterinarian Job

- Outpatient duties including urgent care examinations, diagnosing, prescribing, developing treatment plans, and client education and relations.
- Inpatient duties including managing in-hospital cases, developing treatment plans in collaboration with veterinary colleagues, ordering diagnostics, monitoring results, and client education and relations.
- Maintaining medical records including entering complete patient data in soap format in a timely manner.
- Treat animal patients and ameliorate chronic and acute conditions.
- Perform companion animal care, annual visits, vaccinations, regular lab testing, and urgent care for chronic and acute conditions.
- Maintain complete medical records to ensure good communication with peers and clients.
- Set up anesthesia protocol, supervise anesthesia and perform dental procedures and surgical procedures that are deemed necessary for any individual patient.

1 year of experience required.

Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or foreign equivalent required.

State veterinary license required.
