Job Description:
Treat animals by-appointment and urgent care examination.
Diagnose and prescribe medication for animals.
Educate animal owners on proper treatment and care.
Manage in-hospital cases.
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with veterinary colleagues.
Order diagnostics and monitor results.
Perform scheduled animal surgeries including routine castration, mass removal, laceration repair, abdominal surgery and other soft tissue surgeries.
Perform dentistry extractions.
Enter complete patient data in soap format in a timely manner.
Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or foreign equivalent and New Mexico veterinary license required.
