Associate, Strategy Analyst Job

The Associate, Strategy Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business Planning & Analysis function by providing business and strategic analysis support to various functions within GMAC and assisting with the administration of day-to-day operations of Corporate Services. This role is assigned to special projects in the areas that support the strategic goals based on project prioritization and departmental need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business and strategic support to GMAC, as directed. Specific tasks may include activities such as collecting, reporting, and analyzing data, building databases, researching trends, coordinating meetings, and any other tasks as assigned.
- Provide support in creating/crafting PowerPoints, visuals and other presentation materials across functions. This includes effectively managing the collating, editing, and creation of presentation materials as outlined by management.
- Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Statistics or any data/analysis related discipline; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
- 1-2 years of work experience.
- Strong PC skills, to include Microsoft Office, specifically competent in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Desire to learn new software tools and skills as relevant to providing analysis in the position (e.g., SPSS, R, PowerBI, Workday).
- Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Desire to learn and work in various areas and departments across GMAC.
- Comfortable with project-oriented assignments.
- Communication skills necessary to take direction from and coordinate with individuals across the organization.
