Associate Scientist Job

Formurex, Inc seeks an Associate Scientist in Stockton, CA.

• Analyze Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), and active and placebo pharmaceutical products, such as tablets, capsules, gels, etc. to determine chemical or physical properties,
composition, and structure using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry techniques.
• Develop an analytical method for testing API and drug products using HPLC, UV, etc.
• Prepare test solutions, compounds, or reagents to conduct tests.
• Maintain analytical lab instruments to ensure the proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed.
• Extract the testing data from HPLC using Waters Empower Chromatography Data Software
• Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and make recommendations for data release.
• Write analytical study protocols for required testing and stability studies.
• Validate compliance with all SOPs, cGMPs, and the applicable standards.
• Process optimization, qualification, and validation of the analytical methods.
• Develop quality SOPs, IQ, OQ, PQ, calibration procedures & implementation of same for an analytical research lab
• Support company’s Quality System.
• Develop reports and documents detailing analytical processes, results, and conclusions.

Job Requirements: Job entails working with and requires master’s degree in systems Engineering or relevant or relevant with Candidate must have 2 years of professional experience in:

• Analytical Method Development & Validation
• Instrument Operation & Data Analysis
• GMP Compliance & Quality Systems Support
• Stability Studies & Data Evaluation
• Review & Approval of Analytical Documentation
• Root Cause Analysis & OOS Investigation
• Chromatography and Spectroscopy Application

Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 2 years of experiences of Chemical Scientist, Associate Chemical Scientist position or related.
