Job Description:
Associate Pastor
• Available in Woodway, TX
Job Duties
• Organize and lead regular religious services, Bible studies, and discipleship or religious education programs.
• Prepare and deliver sermons, teachings, and prayers based on theological study and interpretation of sacred texts.
• Administer religious ceremonies, including baptisms, communion services, weddings, and funerals.
• Provide spiritual counseling to individuals, couples, and families regarding spiritual, emotional, and personal matters.
• Visit congregants in homes, hospitals, or other settings to provide pastoral care, comfort, and spiritual support.
• Train and mentor ministry leaders and volunteers in leadership development and discipleship practices.
• Lead cross-cultural and multicultural ministry and outreach activities serving diverse congregational communities.
• Collaborate with senior clergy on ministry planning, curriculum development, and administrative matters related to church operations, etc.
Education Requirement
• Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology, or Pastoral Ministry

Skill Requirement:
• Ordination as a minister by a Christian organization is required.
