Associate Pastor Job

Korean Methodist Church of Detroit seeks Associate Pastor to Serve as a supporting minister to the Senior Pastor. Actively participate in worship services, church meetings, and church ministries. Contribute meaningfully to the spiritual growth of the congregation through teaching, guidance, and personal interaction. Provide pastoral care, including funerals, bereavement support, visitations, sacraments, and spiritual counseling. Offer care for members experiencing physical, emotional, or spiritual suffering. Model mature Christianity with a deep and evident understanding of the love, life, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Set an exemplary standard for the congregation through personal lifestyle and interactions.

* Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from an accredited seminary recognized by the Methodist denomination is required.
* Certification of Ordination as a Pastor is required.
* 6 years of Pastoral ministry experience in a church setting is required.
