Associate Pastor Job

The Korean United Presbyterian Church of Chicago seeks Associate Pastor to Provide pastoral care to the church's 1st-generation Korean-speaking congregation. Shepherd individuals to Christ, raising them biblically, engaging communities in missions, and devising strategies to achieve long term operational goals. Prepare and preach weekly sermons, focusing on a group of Korean-speaking believers in their 30s to 50s. Direct a praise group for seniors and leading musical worship at Friday worship services. Engage in spiritual discipleship of congregants, provide spiritual counseling, organize and manage the church's ministry programs such as missions and community service, conduct volunteer training and recruitment for church ministries, and offer congregational leadership.

* Master’s in Divinity is required.
* Proficiency in the Korean language is required to be in charge of the Korean Ministry.
