Job Description:
Computer Sciences Corporation hiring for Associate Manager Software Engineering in Ashburn, VA (Ref. #9619992). Support a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring the successful delivery of software projects. Assist in the professional growth and mentorship of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and career development planning. Contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy, participating in strategic discussions and technology assessments. Manage project tasks and assignments, helping to prioritize and plan work to meet project goals. Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure efficient project execution. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, working to resolve issues as they arise. Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. Position is responsible for functional management, but does not directly supervise the work of others.
Position requires a Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Mathematics, or related field, and 1 year of work experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
In lieu of a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, will accept a Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Mathematics, or related field, and 3 years of work experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Will work at unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permissible. Annual Salary range: $127,462.00 - $180,300.00.
