Position Title: Associate Manager
Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124
Wage: $174,304
Position Responsibilities: Deliver data product tasks and enhancements aligned with agreed SOW timelines and quality standards. Act as the primary point of contact for client communications regarding data processing, ingestion workflows, and production support issues. Monitor overall task progress as a team and help in resolving blockers. Participate in cross team's discussion for any new data ingestion process. Conduct code reviews for the entire team and approve their PR for production code. Maintain direct contact with the client for any issues in the scheduled data processing/ingestion jobs. Ensure the documentation is up to date for the development and enhancement being done by Tredence team for smooth handover. Coordinate with platform for any access related issues or implementation delays to resolve them at the earliest. Proactive monitoring of jobs and suggest any improvements in code or solution implementation. Ensuring the Tredence executive team/delivery lead is in loop about any concerning issues/progress and any other team changes being involved. Proactively monitor batch and streaming data processing jobs, recommend performance improvements, and ensure high system reliability. Collaborate with other developers in implementing and tracking progress of the tickets created in JIRA. Attend daily and weekly calls with offshore and on-site teams to have better collaboration and understanding within the team for smooth operation.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: [Python and SQL programming, Distributed data processing using Apache Spark, Cloud data platforms (Azure or AWS), Databricks Architecture and Lakehouse Implementation, Data warehousing and data modeling hands-on, Batch and streaming data ingestion frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Azure DevOps, Databricks Asset Bundles, GitHub Actions), Data quality and governance implementation practices]. Required knowledge and experience may be gained prior to or concurrently with Master’s degree. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S., approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
