Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124
Wage: $150,426
Position Responsibilities: Work extensively on Cloud platforms and Big-data frameworks to ingest business data from multiple data sources and on building robust data pipelines for complex IT and data projects. Extensively work on building complex SQL queries to build dashboards capturing key business metrics and KPIs. Develop logical and physical data models as part of data warehousing activities. Perform data quality checks on the data extracted to ensure data quality. Lead data governance activities by working closely with business stakeholders and peers. Work closely with product management and business teams to define metrics and KPIs that drive business results. Partner with product team, engineers and data stewards from other teams to ensure best data practices are followed. Create and manage core metadata of our retail client. Lead a team of analysts and consultants working from offshore and manages client engagements at onsite. Take daily scrum calls with the team to plan and track various tasks. Works on priority tickets to fix production issues.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics and Information Management, or related field, PLUS two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Python; SQL; ETL; Google Cloud Platform; No SQL; Data Modelling; Data Warehousing; Airflow, and; Data Visualizations. Required knowledge may be gained prior to or concurrently with Master’s degree. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
